It will be interesting to see who they appoint to fill Chris Carney's seat on the Town Board.

God help us all. At least he is only one vote in a lot more than he is here. I'm sure he will vote just as he is told to vote.

Now how do we get rid of Erskine Smith?

Wonder how long it will take for that money spender Chief Wes Greene to announce his retirement now that his #1 yes man Carney and his # 2 yes man Abraham will be gone.

Great that he is gone from the Town Council, Bad news for all the people of North Carolina. They will see what he have had to put up here in Mooresville. Just hope that they don't appoint the MI Connection lady. Regardless I think that they should have an election to see who really wants it. We don't want another one that kisses up to the Howards and rich car dealership owners.

Best Wishes, I wish you no harm. After devastating our Town financially, I only hope they can keep you in line, and you won't screw up the State, especially our District as well. BYE BYE

Thank you for your service to the Town, and now to your new district.

Are you going to be the same "conservative" that gave us a $90 million cable debt, high taxes, high water and sewage rate?

Congratulations, Senator Carney. On the one hand I'm disappointed at our loss of your services on the Mooresville Town Board. But, I'm excited that you'll be representing our region in the Senate in Raleigh. You have served us well here in Mooresville and you will serve the people with distinction in the Assembly. The GOP made a great decision in selecting you to fill the remaining term of Dr. Forrester. I hope your service in the Senate will include many terms. Just a thought...I'm betting that one of your first actions will be to work along with Rep. Grey Mills to overturn Gov. Perdue's veto of the disasterous Racial Justice Act.

Why is Democrat Lynn Gullett pretending to be a republican to run for Superior Court? Ah..the fatter pension and pay check...no thanks!
