This interview shows a strong individual that is not scared to stand up for her rights. It is ashamed that our protectors act like this. Both the Sheriff and Ben are womanizers. This is well known in Iredell County and they get away with harassment on a regular basis. Just ask there ex-wives.
Her lawyer was there and I'll bet there are other victims that come crawling out of the woodwork or witnesses to the bad behavior. I'm sure that was the intent of the attorney. Good job all around.
Jamie I ask that you consider making this blog like the Redmond & Landfill where you must have a Facebook account to post. Time to do away with the anonymous status. These shots from the dark and some of the immature silly comments continue to ruin the quality of the discussion on the blog.
If what you are saying is true, then put your name to it. If it is worth saying, put your name to it. If you are scared to say what you want to say, get with one of us who aren't; If you can document what you are saying, we will say it and put our name to it. Those of you who want Redmond and his unethical and illegal ways removed from office are going to have to step up with what you know.
Redmond is chickenshit and hides behind lies and the power of his office, if you want to be better than the man you are putting down you will have to quit hiding yourself.
I put my names on my posts but I understand why people don't want to. I'm suffering for getting in their faces for a lousy misdemeanor. Who knows what they are capable of doing?
In the past 3 years we have seen 1 deputy chase a motorcycle without blue lights.this resulted in an innocent father being killed when he was t boned by the deputy Result no cahrges.A veteran of the iraq war shot in his own front yard by deputies.Result no charges.8 Deputies 4 of witch had 25 plus years of service let go at the sheriffs discression. No recourse.A reporter at the statesville record and landmark had a phone provided and paid for by the sheriff witch is a clear misapropiation of county funds. No recourse from the county or state.A deputy ran into the back of a womans car and was found to have narcotics in his blood st the time he was put into the jail for 6 mo. then back on patrol after the election. What makes the public think there will be changes in the way things are done now.The news needs to start doing their job and reporting so we can have some accountability in the shhriffs office.
Dont ask people to put their name on posts.you saw what happend to benfield when he brought up the corruption in the sheriffs office. What about the others who tried to run for sheriff then suddenly dropped out.I can tell you from personal experience it wasn't because they wanted to drop out or ran out of money. In a corrupt organisation like this one.We need to be scared.
Larry, it just so happens that the county manager, Ron Smith, in so many words told me that I was being prosecuted so zealously because of things I'd said on a certain internet blog. There has been no negotiation and I was essentially extorted into Taking a no contest plea because the HOA board were going to line up and say a bunch of bullshit. Plus the HOA was threatening to put Carol out of her home. Who puts an oldwoman with cancer out on the street? And I was supposed to get some of the animals back. So people are mean and rude on this and hide their identity. Good for them. I e had enough of that inflicted on me from elected and hired officials. A little therapy is good for the soul.
12.08 Dumbass, the officer involved in the wreck was doing over twice the posted speed limit, going uphill into a intersection in a no passing zone. Phil's own words on a wreck involving a deputy in Mooresville were, "Absolutley at no time should an officer be goint over twice the posted speed limit."
March 24, 2012 12:13 PM You mentioned a "Deputy Benfield" having tried to bring out corruption and suffered the consequences. I am not familiar with this situation. Which "Deputy Benfield" was this and can you elaborate on what happened? I am gathering "information" for a packet to pass on to an official in Raleigh.
That veteran that your dumb ass thinks was so innocent was NOT shot at his home he was shot at his ex girlfriends home only after he broke into her home and took her hostage and was probably going to kill her. How many fucking times did he need to be told to drop the gun? And that deputy never shot him he tased him to try to stop him from charging and firing at highway patrol. If it had not been for the highway patrol and deputy sheriff then we would have a headline reading iraq veteran involved in murder/suicide. Get your facts straight douche bag before you start your shit talking.
Your probably one of those that complain about any and every little thing that goes on at ICSO but god forbid you would want them to save your sorry ass if you were being robbed or attacked.
Those that live in glass houses should not throw stones.....
234, whatever you say phillip or ben. There has been so much crap going on in the ICSO, I don't know how you keep the incidents straight. And there are so many douchebags working for the county, we need a score card to keep track of them. The only ones living in glass houses are the ones defending the jackasses being sued and their hangers on.
Dickweeds. Now go on and shave you balls. The womenfolk are gonna own 'em all pretty soon.
I'm collecting my stones and polishing my windows. Y'all shave your balls. I'm with 8:22. I'm gonna have me a nice little collection too. Little being the key word.
